Five Little Pigs by Agatha Christie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Five Little Pigs is one of my favorite stories. I first saw the David Suchet version on TV, and just fell in love with it because though it takes place in the 1930’s, the action of the piece takes place in one of my favorite eras the 1920’s. It is a fascinating look at how people see a catastrophic event differently.
There are differences of course between the book and the show. The name of daughter is different and several other little things, especially the way it ends but essentially it is the same story. I find how she has the same story again and again and again, 5 times really, and each is different because each person who tells it is different and see is in their own way.
I also find it fascinating how an open and closed case changes when you listen to the personal versions because you see things that of course the lawyers would never have even have thought to ask of each witness. And several incredibly important facts are not apart of the trial.
I won’t tell any more because I don’t want to give away the plot. But I can see why this was one of Agatha Christie’s favorites. Such a complex and intricate plot. Brilliant.
Partners in Crime by Agatha Christie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I do not have an accurate count of how many times I have read this wonderful romp. It is my go to book for a troubled heart. I really defy anyone who is down in the mouth, to read one of the short stories in this and not to be touched or smiling at the antics of Tuppence and Tommy. One of my favorites.

Well, I am going to try to bring my dreams of having one of my plays on stage come to life! I started a campaign yesterday on Kickstarter to get the financing to make it happen. So you can be a part of theater and put Cat’s Pajamas on the stage! http://kck.st/2meg7vY I have some great rewards listed and even if you don’t live here in California, you can be a part of the theater, kind of cool, huh?
I would like to thank everyone who listened to Hamlet on the New Years Eve, we have had amazing numbers. I think I can speak for the whole cast, we were all stunned! To be honest I wasn’t sure about doing it as a recording, I like the live theater aspect of it but since it was a holiday it was nice to just press a button and let it go. I would like to thank Everett Robert who edited it all Christmas week, Nick Davidge for all the sound effects that he created for the broadcast, And C. B. Floyd for his help in editing the play. And Anne Louise Fortune for adapting and directing the play for the radio theater. For those who missed it please listen to here for our archive of it; http://tobtr.com/10488099
I am also working on a play for this season’s Sherri’s Playhouse and several books it is going to be a busy writing period for me.

We are doing Hamlet, it is a very short version so don’t worry but it is an amazing thing to produce Shakespeare.
One thing I really find interesting is how many phrases and words come from this play. If you think Hamlet is not your cup of tea listen to the words, you will be amazed how many times you hear his words in our modern language and people just don’t realize it. If you would like to take part in our next production please drop us a line;https://www.facebook.com/Sherris-Playhouse-1415103118746094/
So I received my DVD of the show Bamboozled with my book and Spencer Powell’s vision. It is my first writing assignment and it was very successful. Really cool!
