Trying To Get Back Into The Swing of Things!

schrift 2_whiteBGI am trying to get back into the swing of things after being pretty sick for a week and half.  I had a very, very bad cold, I still have the damn cough.  And my back went out of commission while I was asleep so every time I coughed I lived though a new rash of pain in my lower back.  So I was off the air and no blogs for about two weeks. Sorry about that.

We start our first rehearsals for this season for Sherri’s Playhouse for the first play;   Sunday In The Park With ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????O Henry,  they are always fun!  I love rehearsing radio plays, you’re talking and working with other actors while wearing your pjs, it’s so much fun 🙂  Because I was sick we have to move back the season I am going to have the first play at the end of July to give us enough time to rehearse and because it will be over the 4th July weekend.  I will give the exact date after I chat with the actors.  The next play will bring back the talented Everett Robert and we will close out with my little effort. We need resumes from actors who would like to take part in Ev’s play.  It is going to be very different this year so please join in,  More news on all this as it becomes available, please check the Facebook page;  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sherris-Playhouse/1415103118746094     All the radio plays from last year are on YouTube to give you an idea of what it is all about;  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3gst-mQJWiD01j4fcNCfjg

Because I was so sick none of the shows for the first two weeks were on the day they were suppose to be on so 35816_406565138320_1875124_nwe had special shows.  It fit better for my guests and gave my poor throat more of rest because coughing  as much as I have has had the effect of having me sound like Lauren Bacall, which is better than when I was sick first I sounded squeaky like Minnie Mouse and then sort of rough like Jimmy Durante, So much fun! Not!

We had a speTJ Scott - Photo by Victoria Pratt (2)cial broadcast with the talented director T J Scott! I always have talking to him because not only is he very charming I always learn something new every time and so will you.  We chatted  about his new show; Dark Matter, that just premiered!  We also chatted about his other shows such as Xena, Gotham and Bitten! We will also chatted about his book to fight breast cancer In The Tub! Listen in to the always fascinating TJ Scott!!!.

Charisma

Had a great time chatting about fan cons and her book;Charisma +1 with with author Jessica Brawner! We talked about what to look out for being a newbie at a con and how much fun the world of fandom is and how to safely take part in it.  Listen in! .
